Jean C. Oi教授是斯坦福大学中国项目主任兼北京大学斯坦福中心主任，是中国经济改革问题研究专家，代表作Fiscal reform and the economic foundations of local state corporatism in China在国际期刊上有1270被引用，专著Rural China takes off: Institutional foundations of economic reform有949次被引用。其研究成果有着广泛的学术影响力。
