From May 18 to 21, the 2025 AMBA & BGA Global Conference was held in Berlin, the capital of Germany. Hosted by the Association of MBAs and the Business Graduates Association (AMBA & BGA) and organized by the Berlin Professional School, the conference brought together over 400 delegates from more than 50 countries and regions, including representatives from business schools, scholars, and leaders from globally renowned enterprises. Liu Changqing, Party Secretary of the School of Business, Jiangnan University, was invited to attend the event.
The conference featured eight keynote speeches and sixteen parallel forums. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics such as future leadership and the prospects of business education, the use of generative AI to enhance experiential learning for the development of soft skills and qualitative insights in business simulation contexts, and how business schools can respond to disruptive changes.
In October 2024, the School successfully achieved the BGA (Gold Status) re-accreditation and was granted the maximum accreditation term of five years. Liu Changqing represented the School at the certificate awarding ceremony. In his speech, he introduced the current development status of the School and highlighted initiatives aimed at preserving and promoting Jiangnan's business culture, such as the ongoing development of MBA case studies and the publication of the Jiangnan Business Case Blue Book.
During the conference, Liu Changqing held in-depth exchanges with AMBA & BGA’s Senior Accreditation Advisor and Professor Wang Chongming from Zhejiang University, AMBA & BGA CEO Mr. Andrew Main Wilson, China Director Mr. George Iliev, as well as representatives from domestic and international business schools. Discussions centered on the future development of business schools, innovation in MBA programs, and improvements in educational quality.
This visit to the AMBA & BGA Global Conference not only deepened the School’s ties with international organizations such as AMBA & BGA but also clarified the key focus areas for the School's upcoming AMBA re-accreditation work. The School will take this opportunity to further expand international exchanges and cooperation, introduce high-quality educational resources, and comprehensively enhance the quality of its academic programs.
