A Delegation from Jiangsu Open University Business School Visits and Exchanges Ideas with Jiangnan University Business School

On the morning of April 11th, a delegation of five from the Jiangsu Open University Business School visited the Jiangnan University Business School for research and exchange. Ding Xiaohua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Business School, Jiangsu Open University , Xu Jing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Business, Jiangnan University Business School, along with directors of the student affairs offices and relevant counselors from both institutions participated in the research and discussion. The meeting was chaired by Xu Jing.

Xu Jing warmly welcomed the delegation led by Ding Xiaohua and briefly introduced the School in terms of disciplines, enrollment scale, and student characteristics. She pointed out the commonalities in student affairs between the two schools and expressed confidence that the discussion would promote mutual learning and progress. Ding Xiaohua expressed gratitude for the warm reception at the School and briefly introduced the basic situation of Business School, Jiangsu Open University . She expressed the hope that through this research and exchange, they could fully learn from the excellent practices and advanced experiences of the  School in student management and other aspects.

During the meeting, Wang Cong, Director of the Student Affairs Office of the  School, Sun Xuyuan, Deputy Director, Hu Mingjie, Employment Counselor, Tian Yu, Psychological Counselor, and Xu Yuchen, Freshman Counselor, respectively exchanged views on the work of student organizations, party building, employment, psychological health and emergency response, and freshman academic atmosphere construction. Subsequently, both sides engaged in enthusiastic discussions on how to promote joint construction of party and youth organizations, enhance high-quality employment, and improve parent-school communication.

This research and discussion provided a platform for mutual learning and broadened the horizons and ideas for work between the two institutions. Both parties expressed their intention to further strengthen cooperation and exchanges based on this research and exchange, and to jointly promote progress.
