Delegation from Tilburg University, the Netherlands, led by Dr. Frans Greidanus, Visits Jiangnan University

On the afternoon of November 8, a delegation from Tilburg University, consisting of Dr. Frans Greidanus, Board advisor and Professor of Qiushi Lecture, and Professor Niels Noorderhaven, Deputy Dean of the School of Economics and Management, visited Jiangnan University. They were accompanied by Mr. Wang Xu, Representative of North Brabang Province of the Netherlands to Jiangsu, and Mr. Long Xin of the Foreign Affairs Office of Wuxi Municipality. The delegation had an exchange meeting with representatives from Jiangnan University, including Cai Jianying, Deputy Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Pu Xujin, Dean of the Business School, and Gong Xiaobin, Dean of the College of International Education.

During the meeting, Dean Pu Xujin warmly welcomed Dr. Frans Greidanus and Professor Niels Noorderhen. Associate Professor Meng Fanbo, also the assistant to the dean of the School of Business, provided a detailed introduction to Jiangnan University and the School of Business. Professor Noorderhen then elaborated on the overall situation, advantageous disciplines, and research at Tilburg University and the School of Economics and Management. Both parties discussed various topics of mutual interest, including collaborative educational projects, student exchange programs, and short-term study tours.

To prepare for the upcoming visit of the School of Business delegation to Dutch universities, representatives from both sides offered suggestions and made arrangements. They expressed enthusiasm and a strong willingness to foster further cooperation between the two institutions. After the meeting, a group photo was taken to commemorate the occasion, after which the Dutch guests visited the School of Business.
