Quality and Brand Research Institute of Jiangnan University is a professional scientific research institution established through a city-university joint initiative between Jiangnan University and the People's Government of Wuxi City. The institute capitalizes on the robust foundation provided by Wuxi, recognized as the birthplace of China's modern national industry and commerce, the origin of the "Southern Jiangsu Model," and one of the nation's first "Demonstration Cities of Quality Strength." Leveraging Jiangnan University’ role as a national "world-class discipline construction university" and a "211 Project" university, the institute integrates comprehensive scientific research advantages and gathers premier resources and talents both locally and internationally. As an institution combining inputs from government, industry, academia, and research, the institute is led by Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and leaders from Jiangnan University. It draws upon a collective of renowned experts and scholars from around the world to robustly support its scientific research, service provision, and talent development. It provides decision-making support for high-quality development of the regional economy and society and methods and technologies for improving quality in various industries.The institute comprises the Quality Research Center, the Brand Research Center, the Quality Technology Infrastructure Research Center, Education and Training, the Consultancy Service Center, and the Yangtze River Delta Quality and Brand Research Technology Alliance.
