In April 2026, the School of Business at Jiangnan University officially became a member of the International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies (CEEMAN). This milestone marks a significant step forward in the School’s efforts to advance internationalization and better serve national strategic priorities. Membership will not only deepen cooperation in business education with countries along the Belt and Road, but also promote global academic resource sharing and enhance the quality of management education, enabling the School to play a more influential role in the global management education landscape.

Founded in 1993, CEEMAN is a leading international association dedicated to advancing management education in dynamic and emerging economies. It comprises nearly 200 member institutions from over 50 countries, with more than half located along the Belt and Road. Upholding the principle of close integration between academia and industry, CEEMAN provides diverse platforms for case development, academic research, quality assurance, and international exchange. Through these initiatives, it supports business schools in contributing to regional economic development, social innovation, and sustainable growth, while systematically enhancing the global influence of management education in emerging economies. To date, 12 leading business schools in mainland China have joined CEEMAN, including those at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University, and the University of Science and Technology of China, forming an internationally influential network of business education.

In recent years, the School of Business at Jiangnan University has embraced an open and globally oriented approach, actively expanding international partnerships and continuously improving the quality of talent cultivation and research innovation. The School has achieved AMBA & BGA accreditation and is currently a member of AACSB, while actively advancing toward AACSB accreditation. Its international reputation in business education continues to grow steadily.

As the 13th CEEMAN member institution from mainland China, the School of Business at Jiangnan University will further expand its global academic network and deepen collaboration with peer institutions such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University Antai College of Economics and Management, Fudan University School of Management, and other business schools in emerging economies. These efforts will include faculty exchange, joint research, and co-development of quality standards, contributing to a closed-loop ecosystem of management education characterized by a focus on local challenges, integration with industry practice, and global resource sharing.

Joining CEEMAN represents a major milestone in the School’s international development. Building on this achievement, the School will continue to advance the development of a high-level business school and strive to cultivate outstanding management talent with a global perspective and a strong sense of social responsibility.
