Professor Pu Xujin, Dean of the School of Business, Attends the 2024 AMBA & BGA Global Conference

From May 12th to 15th, the 2024 AMBA & BGA Global Conference, organized by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the Business Graduates Association (BGA), and hosted by Corvinus University of Budapest, was held in Budapest, Hungary. The conference brought together over 300 business school representatives, renowned scholars, and global business leaders from 50 countries and regions to discuss the future development of business school education. Professor Pu Xujin, Dean of the School of Business at Jiangnan University, was invited to attend this grand event.

During the conference, there were 16 keynote speeches and 16 parallel forums that deeply explored topics such as the challenges faced by higher education, how technology is driving innovation in MBA education, and the application and challenges of artificial intelligence in business school education.

At the conference, Dean Pu Xujin engaged in in-depth discussions with AMBA & BGA's Senior Accreditation Advisor, Professor Wang Chongming of Zhejiang University; CEO of AMBA & BGA, Mr. Andrew Main Wilson; China Regional Director, Mr. George Iliev; and Board Member, former Dean of Rotterdam School of Management, Professor Steef Van de Velde. They discussed the latest developments of School of Business, Jiangnan University and the progress of the School's re-accreditation with AMBA & BGA this year, clarifying the key focus areas for the re-accreditation efforts.

Furthermore, Dean Pu Xujin exchanged ideas with representatives from various domestic and international business schools on the future development of business school education, innovation in MBA programs, improvement of educational quality, and international accreditation.

This exchange not only strengthened the ties of the School of Business at Jiangnan University with international organizations such as AMBA & BGA but also clarified the direction and key tasks for this year's re-accreditation work. Additionally, through this international exchange, the school expanded its opportunities for international collaboration, laying a solid foundation for the upcoming re-accreditation work.
