Dr. Jeffrey Stangl, Associate Dean of Business School, Massey University Visits Jiangnan University

On the afternoon of April 28th, Dr. Jeffrey Stangl, Associate Dean of School of Business, Massey University, New Zealand, visited our university for exchange. Ms. Qin Jie, Deputy Director of the International Office, Mr. Pu Xujin, Dean of School of Business, and Mr. Meng Fanbo, Assistant of Dean of School of Business, and other relevant staff participated in the exchange.

During the meeting, Dean Pu Xujin first extended a warm welcome to Dr. Jeffrey Stangl's visit. He expressed that Massey University, as a partner of Jiangnan University in the field of international education, maintains a good cooperative relationship with both sides. If the Business School of Massey University and the  School of Business, Jiangnan University can initiate new cooperation in the future, it will be a new expansion for both parties in the field of international education. Subsequently, Mr. Meng Fanbo, Assistant of the Dean provided Dr. Jeffrey Stangl with a detailed introduction to the current development of the School, including achievements in teaching, research, talent cultivation, and international exchanges. Dr. Jeffrey Stangl expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from Jiangnan University. As an important partner of Massey University, he looks forward to exploring new areas of cooperation with Jiangnan University. In the subsequent discussion session, both parties conducted in-depth discussions on the areas and intentions of cooperation, reaching consensus that thorough preparations should be made to ensure the smooth progress of future cooperation.

In addition, Dr. Jeffrey Stangl also shared the experience of studying business in New Zealand and the advantages of studying abroad in New Zealand for students in the School who intend to study abroad after graduation. His sharing provided students with a more intuitive understanding of the educational environment in New Zealand.

This visit not only deepened the mutual trust between our university and Massey University but also laid a solid foundation for the future cooperation and development of the business schools of both universities.
