JNU Student Ranked First in Overall Score in ACCA Qualification Strategic Professional Exams in Mainland China

Zhang Jiaqian from the School of Business ranked first in overall score in ACCA Qualification Strategic Professional exams in Mainland China in the July 2020. She also scored best in two courses, “Strategic Business Report” and “Advanced Financial Management”.

ACCA is one of the four associations of chartered accountants in the UK. It offers highly recognized financial certificates. The ACCA exams cover 13 courses in three stages, all in English.

During preparation, Zhang Jiaqian kept adjusting learning methods, optimizing time management, and improving learning attitude to keep up to schedule. She also applied the theoretical knowledge to practice by presiding over a provincial training project on college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship, participating in a competition on flipped classroom for financial enterprise accounting, where she won the first prize), and attending the accountant round table held at the ACCA Prize Awarding Ceremony. Whenever she came across puzzles, she would seek help from teachers and seniors.

The School also provides students with theoretical guidance and experience exchange on how to obtain professional certificates.
